Bremerhaven, January 2013 - Hasske und Meermann Antriebstechnik from Hilden near Düsseldorf has taken over the distribution of Rotek motors for North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. Rolf Treusch, Commercial Director of the Bremerhaven-based manufacturer of small electric motors, comments: "Together, we want to offer Rotek customers in this region even better accessibility and quality of advice. Hasske und Meermann Antriebstechnik serves a broad customer base from the plant engineering, automation technology, mechanical engineering, machine tool construction and heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology sectors, among others. With branches in Hilden, Frankfurt and Zwickau, the company has been on the market for more than 40 years.
Rotek as well as Hasske and Meermann Antriebstechnik develop flexible drive solutions according to customer requirements. The two companies share a similar philosophy. The high level of technical consulting expertise in electrical and mechanical drive technology is particularly valuable for Rotek. The Bremerhaven-based company would like to use the collaboration to open up new areas of application, e.g. for conveyor belts in industry or for drives in the catering sector.
