Dear Customers,

Once again, two members of staff celebrated 25 years of service with the company. Gertrud Meyers and Anke Allerheiligen joined Rotek at the very beginning and began their careers with our predecessor company Hasselbach & Kausch Elektromotoren.

We warmly thank them both once again for their commitment to the Rotek team.

Mrs. Meyers can now enjoy a well-earned retirement from May of this year. We are pleased that we will have an occasion to meet up with her again at joint activities, like our Summer Party.

One year after the successful market launch of the smaller Romotion BLDC drives, Bremerhaven-based Rotek now launches a larger version – possibly for transport systems in warehouses and in production logistics.

The new version of the Romotion is significantly higher-performing than the smaller version and the sensor-free standard version has an extended speed range of 400 to 4000 rpm. At 24 and 48 V, the motor and its integrated electronics delivers a continuous output rate of up to 130 W, with a peak of 200 W.

Several years ago our partner SPG launched an excellent series of flat gears, which form a compact and heavy-duty solution together with our Romotion motors and are particularly suitable for applications in intralogistics or industrial automation.

The gears have an IP54 rating, have full ball bearings and offer a wide range of available transmission ratios. Hollow shafts with diameters of 17 or 20 mm and solid shafts of up to 28 mm are possible. The smaller FA series is designed for a continuous torque of 50 Nm, with the transmission ratios of the 3-4 stage gears ranging from 43:1 to 905:1.

The more powerful FB series is designed for twice the torque of 100 Nm, with the 3-stage gears available with transmission ratios of 21:1 to 306:1.
