If drives are used in the spray zone, they must be designed in accordance with hygienic design. High hygiene standards ensure reliability and consumer safety.<\/p>\n<p>This means that the drive units must be easy to clean and their geometry must be able to withstand soiling.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Stainless steel plays an important role. It is resistant to corrosion, chemicals and temperature. A smooth surface made of 1.4404 stainless steel ensures that no impurities adhere to it.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The drive must be able to withstand many cleaning cycles. Cable glands and plugs are also made of stainless steel, have smooth surfaces and no hidden openings in which anything could get stuck.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The connections, seals and cables used must meet the hygienic design standards. The cables, for example, have a particularly resistant sheath with an extremely smooth surface and cannot be washed out even by high-pressure cleaners.
